Not as into this AJ Tracey record as I was the last one. Apart from a few tracks a lot of it is kinda washing over me

 

I started to listen to payroll giovanni again after hearing that song and his new album with cardo is pretty good I like this one particularly

also I’m curious if R&B gets discussed in here? .Paak crosses over the line between rap/funk/hip hop/r&b that I have trouble categorizing him in one so he’s my favorite overall as of recent years, but Giveon is growing on me big time.

Given that with very few exceptions it's really all coming out of Hip Hop culture, I always thought we should just merge the threads anyway, instead of having an R&B thread that is chronically on life support while people here are talking about R&B artists that kind of sound like rappers sometimes

 

There never was a lot of traction for R&B here to begin with (recent experiments like my R&B Classics threads haven’t worked either), but as far as I can tell, some of the people that were in the thread more or less left Chorus and now too few of us R&B fans are left to keep the thread very active.

 

I'm all in favour... OF KEEPING THEM SEPERATE! Yeah, I said it.

In all seriousness, I do think it's better keeping it separate.
