This is cool. Wasn't into the other songs I checked out by them previously but I'll have to go back to the others.

I fuck with their Untitled album a lot. Cool to see how much they've grown. But, to be clear, are all the jacked dudes in the video actors? I've spent the past hour or so trying to figure out what the fuck this band is

they’re trying to tell us they’re the leaders of the band while also telling us they weren’t on the previous records. so two dudes somewhat new to the band with no other notable credits just got two members of QOTSA and a member of METZ on their album?

So “Adam” is really Tony Wolski who has been in the band/other bands? And Cara is a real person

 

the drummer is a real person too

 

for the record i think all of them are real humans and not clones or otherwise. they just aren’t on the album.

 

I went to see The Armed a few years ago and had an hour long conversation with a man who called himself Randall after the show. We talked about music and touring. He said he was the singer of the band - tho it was hard to tell in the pitch black darkness with the constant strobing lights and the beer soaked floor making me slip every time I got pushed by the guy in the ghillie suit. I turned around for a brief second to say bye to a friend... and Randall was gone. Was he ever even there? Did that show really happen? These questions linger.

 

I want to go to an armed show

 

the lead singer especially gives me actor vibes. like I feel like I've seen him in a movie lol

 

"Randall" (assuming you're referring to the gigantic long haired guy) is definitely the screaming vocalist. Live anyways. Not sure about singing, the one time I saw them was in a dude's basement and there was.... a lot going on

 

so the bassist in the video is the singer and the singer in the video is the drummer?

 

But the drummer is also the guest drummer on the album?

 

judging by this conversation I think their plan seems to be working
