My company is now forcing us to use two days of vacation every month for the foreseeable future now. There has been a ton of shortages of supplies from IC's, to resins, and probably something new next week. Plants are being shutdown for days to supply shortages so I've been waiting for furloughs or something like this to start. What a fun, fucking roller coaster the automotive world is.

 

My cousin is having a c-section today and her husband (Covid denier) tested positive. He hung out with his also positive brother. Am I a terrible person for NOT feeling bad for them? They’ve KNOWN today was the day. His employer paid them to get vaccinated and he opted out.

 

On the retail automotive side it's been excellent. Low supply, high demand. My company had record profit last year despite covid. The first three months of this year were out of control.

 

I wouldn’t feel bad at all.

 

We were kicking ass until the chip shortage started. Trying to fill that supply had us busy as ever. My boss side this year and half of next year will be worse than it was in 2020. Fun times.

 

I know we have that investment thread now but dogecoin is going absolutely nuts and I am kicking myself I didn't buy a shit ton when I bought last in January. I am up like 750%
