When they do fix it, we should definitely get a crew together.

Glad the game is getting a lot of buzz. I’ve always thought People Can Fly were an underrated developer.

Bulletstorm is the best Duke Nukem there ever was.

Gears Judgement gets a ton of hate but I like it.

Outriders is great so far. Picked the Technomancer class. The leech ability was a no brainer.

I would definitely try the Technomancer on the first run through or even the Pyromancer. I am on World Tier 2 and can see the difficulty ramping up pretty quickly and those two classes would be good starting points.

I might go back and have a further look then. I'll try a bit more with Trickster but i might need to start again lol.

The nice thing with the Technomancer is for every kill you get, it gives you a portion of health back (leech).

Not at all. I've been gaming since 1990ish. NES, SNES, and most all consoles from then until now. My hobby interests have shifted in the past 5 years more from gaming to like ultra trail running, running, biking, camping, hiking, adventuring, "just being outside doing stuff", and general trying to get more stuff done around my house/property when I have time. My attention span with games has gone down and its hard to sit in front of a TV for more than an hour or so; Any media really. I hardly ever watch a movie since that's minimum 1.5-2 hours unless I break it up. If I've played at all in the past couple years it some pretty light hearted pick up and play stuff(a random Destiny 2 binge here and there). However, I still listen to some gaming podcasts weekly just to kinda turn the brain off and hear people talk about some cool stuff I'm still interested in. I hadn't turned on a game in probably 2 weeks and it felt good to finally roll credits on a story campaign again.

No one wants to hear me go into any of that. Oh well. Started Outriders. It's fine I guess. Weird you can't jump. It kinda just makes me want to just play Borderlands instead.

Why would you need to jump? Lol

It’s a video game ass video game in the best way possible. Gorgeous game with a really solid combat system. I platinum’ed it but the side stuff can definitely get repetitive, so don’t feel bad if at some point you feel the need to just mainline it.

I just feel similar sometimes, but usually because I can't find enough time to play. Usually when a game is over 15 hours it starts feeling like a job to accomplish it. Red Dead 2 hit me like that. Hard to play anything over 20 hours any more.

I guess all the character controlled games I’ve played recently I can jump. (Well, except Gears). Anyway it feels like I should be able to? But it’s fine. Its not that type of game. The movement of the trickster is pretty fast and fun.

Speaking of platinuming, I’m so damn close to platinuming Persona 5 Strikers. The last trophy for maxing out bond skills is so fucked up. I get that it was meant for people who want to replay on the hardest difficulty because it gives more Xp but I’m not that type of gamer. Just let me finish the damn game.

Just platinumed ghost of Tsushima too. Personally I loved it and it might be my favorite open world game. The world is so gorgeous and I think the guiding wind system and the foxes/birds/smoke that lead you to secrets help negate the “check list” feeling of exploration that kind of hold back games like Horizon and Spider Man.

Also as someone who loved Bushido Blade, the cinematic duels are sick.

Totally! Red Dead 2 a very specific example as I bought it on release day, maybe played 5 hours and never came back. The time investment is huge and daunting. I really would love to finish that game to just experience the world and atmosphere as well as the story. The camp management deflates me.

Every game should have a jump button. Madden? I want to jump. Gran Turismo? Let that car soar! ZELDA? Well...maybe we can't get everything we want...
