Wonder if they’ll still have the Gin Blossoms on the line-up. I was just looking on Saturday night to see the status of that tour too.

I hope the Jimmy Eat World and Bayside/SF/HH tours get rescheduled / announced.

 

Hawthorne Heights probably has an 11.5-year anniversary tour scheduled

 

Rumor has it that that's actually true and they're only going to be playing 11.5 songs at each show. Innovators.

Man good thing HH is the only band that does anniversary shows for their big albums

 

Seriously. I'd take an anniversary tour every single year for Dude Ranch through Untitled. haha.

I know you love them, but you can't pretend they don't milk those two records every chance they get with multiple anniversary tours. More power to them, I guess. It's just a joke.

 

Haha you're right. I misread what you wrote. Anniversary shows are sometimes my preferred way of seeing bands though, honestly. Especially with HH since I really only know Silence of Black and White. And seeing the Goo Goo Dolls play all of Dizzy Up the Girl was amazing since that's pretty much their only album I know super well front to back. But then there's bands like The Ataris who basically only do tours that revolve around So Long Astoria anniversaries, which is a bummer. I think I've seen them play that album 150 times now haha.

 

I can do TBS playing TAYF, too. Better?

TBS is a worse offender for that than HH imo. But tbf, bands the size of HH basically have to rely on nostalgia from their 1 or 2 early popular albums to be able to stay active. So those anniversary shows are more of a necessity for them than anything else.
