I would probably buy a PlayStation just to play a legit reboot of Twisted Metal. Make it happen Sony

 

Really bummed that the last Twisted Metal game was not so good and the lackluster Destruction AllStars basically means Twisted Metal will remain dead for a while.

 

I know everyone shits on it, but if we could get a good indie studio to develop a sequel or reboot of PlayStation All-Stars, I would buy that immediately. Sony has such an insane roster of characters and even more now since that game came out on PS3. You could add Astro, Aloy, Ellie, the kid from Concrete Genie, Knack, and Jin from Ghost of Tsushima.

Theres hella games from PS1/PS2 that I loved that I dont care at all to see brought back.

That being said, bring back SOCOM.

I feel like the only thing holding back a SOCOM return is how many games like that exist now (although 99% of them are on PC and nearly all of them suck really really badly)

There’s like 1000 SOCOM rip offs on Steam.

What exactly is the downside to having only one console? I'd be all for buying one for $500 instead of 3 for $1400.

Well, it wouldn't really matter if there were no exclusives. You could literally just only buy your console of preference at that point.

Consoles are so weird. Just try to think of another business model that handles things that way. You can only experience THIS ONE THING HERE AND NOWHERE ELSE.

isn't that most things, streaming services, restaurants, clothing stores, theme parks. Companies need something special otherwise why go to them?

 

It would obviously be best for consumers if game consoles were more like blu-ray players and the point of competition is which console has the best specs, the best look, the best online infrastructure, etc. as opposed to who has the best exclusives. But that's an ideal world that just isn't possible, clearly.

Those really aren't appropriate comparisons. The only one that fits that bill is streaming services which is also frustrating. The rest are like saying one book is different than a different book or a burger is different from another burger, like no shit they're different. But it's not like if I can only drive on certain roads if I buy a certain car or something.

What are you frustrated about? I've played a ton maybe I can help.

 

Is there a specific strategy? Like any cards I should maybe be discarding or not using? I keep getting to the 3rd ish battle in Act II and getting rekt. I’m trying to beat it with Ironclad before I play with anyone else.
