Yes. Fuck AEW has such a great tag division they could put it on anyone. Death Triangle, B&B, Best Friends, Bear Country. The amount of fantastic angles you could do over the titles in insane. But instead it’s this bollocks.

Just a heads up though, the web player for Peacock is SUPER low res, so I had to pop up the iPad on my desk today. Not the end of the world, but worth noting.

Yeah, Takeover tonight is the one night I was really pumped for. Thankfully it's the same time as Bloodsport. I'm going to watch both, but I'm less excited for Bloodsport.

 

That was the first Takeover in a while where I’ve enjoyed all the matches. I could watch WALTER wrestle forever. Never tire watching his matches.

Also: one move i could gladly live without ever seeing it again, is Nick Jackson giving two guys a suplex at the same time.

I am no cornette-ish kayfabe defender, but that move is just toooo much for me.

 

I don’t mind it once in a while but yeah. That and the “locomotion” suplex. I switch off when they start.

I think that will be fine in about 4/5 years when they can reference and call back to themselves. But can be a little off putting right now. Not terrible, far from it. But I can understand why it would bother people.

 

I can’t wait till Hangman runs through the elite - him winning the belt from Omega in front of a packed All Out audience will be the biggest pop since Bryan at Mania 30

 

Here's my random wish championship feuds for aew rn:

-bucks lose the titles back to FTR who then have a serious feud with Jurassic Express. Dax and Jungle Boy have shown how great they can be together, and it's time to make JB into the star he should be. Also, FTR is the best tag team in any major promotion rn.

-if Brian Cage rly turns face, then find a stupid cool stipulation for the FTW title and have either Ricky Starks or Hobbs feud with him for that title. Starks is amazing, and Hobbs is one of the few serious big guys in aew, sadly he gets too little time to shine rn

-Darby vs Matt Hardy works for me, but after that Darby could have a cool feud with a heel PAC (who, ffs, is a natural heel) or Miro

-i love Tay Conti, but where is this going? She and Shida are both major babyfaces right now. And both should stay faces imo. Maybe have Britt win the title and then Tay feud with her?

-Kenny is a cool heel champ, maybe have a transitional feud after Moxley with for example Christian. In the end, it HAS to be Hangman who dethrones Kenny. Then i'd love a feud for the title between Hangman and MJF.

 

I feel like Christian will get a reign at some point too.
