i liked the first batch a good amount. cristin and billy are really good in it. i don't get why ray took the job bc they haven't given him any material but it has only been three episodes.

I’m just curious if any of these Qtubers are watching this documentary and feeling ashamed, or if they’ve just convinced themselves that Jim and Ron stealing Q made the “real Q” stop posting but that it’s all still real.

 

I don't know it's hard for me to believe a single loser from japan was able to start the Q movement but whatever I guess

 

Original Recipe Q is what I keep going back to as well. Like, wouldn’t it make sense that, if the first Q were real, first Q would push back pretty hard against Watkins Brand Q and not just disappear over the horizon like they did because they so clearly saw what their little trolling larp had transformed into? Wouldn’t Secret Government Q with Q Clearance be a little miffed that 8chan Q just so easily coopted their movement and do whatever they could to maintain their audience because the “war” they’re fighting is...so...”real”...and...important...or...whatever...

 

Even IF there was originally a different Q poster, and it wasn’t part of the Watkin’s power trip, they were a looney tune too who probably didn’t expect things to blow up and eventually walked away from it. Ron, for as ignorant and shitty as he is, is a technologically smart guy underneath the awkward social skills and desire to be infamous. I think he saw the opportunity to bring their site to an astronomical amount of attention using Q and had zero remorse for the outcome. He knew how to do it and planned methodically with his father from there on out. And yeah, as said above, if the original “Q” were who they said they were with the ability and power to access those forums with higher clearance, they’d of surely done something about it.

 

The layout of Peacock in general is the worst of any of the streaming services. The content is also not worthy of a steaming service in my opinion. Incomplete seasons of some shows and not as much content as you think. Weak back catalog of TV Shows and movies while relying on the EPL and WWE for live sports content. Not being able to start in progress programming from the beginning is super weak. It makes the somewhat underwhelming Paramount plus app look amazing lol

Glad I’m not the only one. It’s just puzzling that they thought this would be successful. People aren’t gonna pay just to watch The Office and other old NBC shows. I’m surprised they didn’t even have all seasons of old people shows like all the different versions and seasons of Law and Order.

They don’t have any movie deals or any cool exclusive shows on there. The only new exclusive content is WWE/EPL and both fanbases hate the app because it’s design/functionality is shit. I’m honestly shocked they gave WWE all of the money they did when the WWE network had maybe a million and a half subscribers which I assume a portion of those already had Peacock due to having Xfinity. It makes sense now why they have so many subscribers due to anyone that has Xfinity having an account, but I think maybe a third of those subscribers use the service. Relying purely on nostalgia with shows and movies is incredibly dumb.

 

They really went all in with relying on The Office. But honestly the only thing I care about right now is how bad they butchered the WWE network. Like I know you can’t just put an app inside another app but I feel like you had to go out of your way to make it as unusable as they did.

 

Peacock is going to be ruthless in the future. I expect every single NBC/Universal movie or TV show that ends it's contract with other streamers to end up on Peacock. You're going to see a ton of complaints about X and Y disappearing from Netflix, just to arrive on Peacock days later.

But yeah, right now their content is bleh, that's because they've already licenced out so much of their content for streaming before Peacock existed.

 

Not crazy about Made for Love, but I'll watch anyway. Short episodes don't bother me too much.
