my silver lining is that, castro in the 7th actually did a good job keeping the lead. What happened to them happened in the 8th inning, and theres just no way in hell degrom was getting the 8th inning. Pulling jake wasnt why they lost but i question not electing to pinch hit dom smith for pillar when the bases were loaded and switch nimmo to CF. Last night felt like just a rough rude awakening for Rojas, and i hope he cleans it up.

 

Great comeback win for the Halos… fans went a bit overboard throwing items, such as a real trash can, onto the field.

Those are the colors of the Boston Marathon. I don’t love the look of them personally but I get what they are going for.

feel like if they're gonna do such dramatic departures from traditional unis/color schemes they should think bigger. if we're doing garish, non-traditional colors anyway then give me a bigass logo on the front or something, make it look totally different

we'll see, I hope I like the other teams' more. marlins are next and I feel like there are a lot of really cool possibilities for miami so fingers crossed

Yeah I agree with you. I don’t mind the colors as there’s a reason behind it but it’s just plain, nothing special about it. Maybe put the Boston Marathon logo on it with a Sox logo behind it or something. Or at least use the same font the Red Sox have on their jerseys already to tie it in.

noticed that too and looked it up after finding that image and it appears varitek was the last player to wear a C on their jersey and david wright was the last player to officially be designated a captain

edit: actually beltre last served as a captain in the last year wright did too

 

D-Backs need to bring back their purple/teal uniform colors. Those red ones just don’t look right to me.
