really would hate to see the Mets lose the weekend series here and go into the Phillies season not only down 3 games to the rest of the teams but 3 divisional games that are going to have to be made up via double headers and messy off-day scheduling, which impacts games after that as well. it's easy to say as a fan of the team who isn't impacted but i wish they'd force forfeits on the teams who cannot field players. it'll never happen, of course.

just absolutely ludicrous that i would happily pay $150/yr or whatever when i lived in indiana and kentucky to watch my team play (and then just grumble when i couldnt watch vs cubs/reds) but now they make me really just want to pirate everything when i live 15 min from busch stadium. i know we've been over this before but it's just so broken and fucked

AND because of the dispute between fox sports and everyone, i can't even get fox sports midwest if I ponied up for youtube tv or sling or hulu live. would have to actually get cable. just so so dumb, literally the only thing i want to watch for the next six months is every single baseball game (and nhl/nba playoffs). could not care less about anything else on tv
