I screamed when Kris popped up in the machine, so happy that she's back.

 

Yet another stable, and more so led by QT, is soooo unnecessary. QT's whole heel turn is so meh.

The main event was so much fun tho, i just love seeing Miro on tv.

 

Someone pointed it out recently, but AEW does the post-match attacks wayyyyyyyyy too much

 

Interesting how AEW keeps building up these groups of competitors...in groups of three...or variables of three...almost like there are TRIOS they intend to push.

...eh probably doesn't mean anything...

(legit though, Dragon Gate has had the right idea for 20 years now: STABLE WARFARE FOR ALL)

I think QT Marshall is a charisma vacuum. That said, I love that aew are willing to put someone in this type of angle; it’s not great but at least it’s trying something with someone who isn’t a top star which feels so different from how wwe is/has operated for years.

 

maybe my expectations are lower than others here but every week I'm just having a fantastic time watching AEW. Dynamite has become one of the highlights of my week

 

the whole QT Marshall thing falls flat on me because the whole Nightmare Family faction has just been the Cody show. if they had someone else being built up as a solid number 2 to Cody, maybe it would have been better?

i popped for Kris Statlander. did not expect her but glad she's back. Miro looked like a monster even in defeat.

 

The problem with the Nightmare Family is that there is all these members but I never see them do anything. Maybe it’s because I only watch Dynamite and not dark but it seems like there’s a million members but all we see is Cody

He is boring for sure. I'm not sure I understand what they are going for with Cody and Red Velvet either.

 

I agree with this, I may not be interested in QT but I’m glad there’s something new going on.

 

It's not that I don't have high expectations for Dynamite, it's just that the first 45 minutes of last night were so dreadfully boring. I have zero interest in Christian Cage, that exhibition with QT and Cody was stupid, and Moxley beating jobbers was a yawn. Second half of the show was great though.

 

Completely agree here. That ending made up for everything else.

 

I actually thought Cody was one of the highlights of aew's first year. That match against dustin, the cage match against wardlow, his promos back then..that was all amazing imo. Ever since the pandemic started, he was mostly in lazy feuds and the most time spent on him are his ridicolous entrances.

And they finally need to slow down on the post match attacks and especially the promo attacks. If i worked in aew I would never do a promo, because i am sure somebody would smack me in the head then.

That being said, while my criticisms are growing, dynamite is still the only wrestling show i continue to watch and i find it highly entertaining. I have zero interest in wwe anymore and that includes nxt.

 

I've been digging NXT a lot the last couple months

 

Ah Cody was great during the initial TNT Title run.

 

Her spot through the air hockey table was one of the coolest looking things Ive seen

 

The last month especially NXT has been great. But I will say it’s missing some of the excitement that AEW creates. Top to bottom though you can’t really fault NXT on much
