People have always been quick to make fun of the low hanging fruit of nu metal, or rap rock as it was termed as a derogatory slant. Slipknot, korn, deftones, linkin park (rip), system of a down without a new album in over a decade were still headlining music festivals pre pandemic. You can love a band all you want it's cool, but if you scoff at a different alternative music genre while touting the shit you like, well lol

 

The actually talented musicians in the Bizkit deserved so much more than a aggro-white dude in a baseball cap
