Ok this tweet makes me think the trailer is a misdirect and Flag gets killed immediately

 

Yeah wouldn't surprise me if the film begins with a major death right away

 

“get him in the hefty role” more like “put him in a hefty bag after he gets blown up”

 

looks fine. funnier than i expected but still looks like action cgi nonsense like most dceu.

 

If Rick Flag dies, I hope Katana is at the funeral & says through tears, "I was supposed to have his back."

 

I’m kinda forgetting cause I only saw it once, but what happened with the previous suicide squad members who aren’t reappearing? I know Diablo sacrificed himself and Slipknot was killed, but are they gonna give any inkling to Croc, Katana and Deadshot?

 

Doubt it. The team is fluid.

 

Based on the trailer seems like the whole plot leaked a few months ago if anyone is interested

It's technically a sequel but it's really more of a soft reboot. Like I'm sure in the context of this movie everything that happened in Suicide Squad (and Birds of Prey too) did happen, but it's also probably not really going to acknowledge it too much. Like maybe Harley and Boomerang make a comment to Flag about working together again or something like that.

 

Still gonna keep hope alive for a Poison Ivy cameo btw

 

Maybe that's why Gunn is being secretive on Taika's role

 

I love Uma Thurman as Poison Ivy she just deserved to be in a better movie.

 

Her talking plant sidekick, right?
