Yeah this is actually a great album and it's taken me like 3 months to admit that and I'm shocked but yeah

Same... I ignored it for months and finally listened to it two times last night and was like damn I've been missing out

So I thought this was okay around the time it came out and then ignored it until today, and apparently I love it now. I'm in the middle of my 3rd spin of the day. This is probably in my top ten for my mid-year list at this point. Definitely the biggest surprise of the year.

And the cashier here is ruthless...

me neither. i revisited the other stuff and its just not good. But this album is, dare I say, a very special album imo. The themes of mental illness and religion hits close to home.

I guess I should listen to this again. I thought it was fine but it still didn't connect with me that much

Im just impressed by how sharp and lean and emotional this album is. It reminds me of Stay What You Are or The Power Of Failing in that way.

I tried this out based on people liking it and it's just not my thing. I don't really like either of the singers or their songwriting. It wasn't horrible but I didn't enjoy it.

Just love how short and sharp this is. That's the word that I keep coming back to with this album: sharp. Both in production and songwriting it's just sharp and focused and really well made. I've listened to it like 3 or 4 times today because its only like 27 minutes and it's such an easy listen.

Boy, I did not think I'd fall in love with a MB album like I have with this

Pretty much how I feel. It isn't a chore to listen to but it also doesn't feel incomplete by any means.. There's also a kind of alt rock Blend with their sound here that works really well.. I don't know what the word would be for it, but all of the songs feel like they drive yet they all differ in tempos

That was a great read. I've come around to really loving this album over the summer.

Yea that was a good read and I like many others wasn't into the band's sound at first but this album clicked with me over the summer as well. The album is one of my favorites of the year and I never saw that coming but the songwriting on this thing is so good, hardly any of it is immediate, but once it hits it really hits

yeah great, taut, energetic and effective album. The themes of mental illness are all too relatable. This is the only thing I like from this band, but I really cant praise it enough.
