If the MCU had started off with the likes of Black Panther, GotG, Iron Man & Ragnarok there’d probably be even more comic book movie fans than there presently is.

 

90s Batmans and the Blade trilogy is all you need

 

I find the Blade trilogy to be really bad lol. Especially the sequels. Wesley was a perfect casting for it, look and all. But that script and the storylines of the second two films are terrible.

 

Finished Justice League. Definitely better than the original, and things really picked up at Part 4. But man, those first 2 hours really dragged.

That epilogue just confirms that Leto wasn't plagued by a bad script in Suicide Squad. That was pretty awful.
Shame that that final twenty minutes was to set up a sequel that will never be made. I do hope they finally give the Flash his own standalone movie. Ezra killed it.

 

I think blade 1 and 2 were good - just not 3

 

The epilogue in ZSJL is soooo bad I agree. I don’t even know why bringing back Jared Leto was such a big deal to add to the movie because it holds no weight and honestly, might’ve been worse to watch than his Suicide Squad scenes. Batman also saying “I’m gonna fucking kill you” to him made me cringe pretty hard.

The new Nate Bargatze special is great. It wasn't until after it finished that I saw the TV-G rating. Does he really not use any profanity? I've seen all his specials and never even noticed. All his stuff is hilarious though.

 

Yeah, he’s totally clean, but doesn’t point it out or go for cutest/topical stuff. He just doesn’t need it, I guess.

 

Echoing the Nate Bargatze love. The new special is great. The waffle iron and one fell swoop bits are some of his best.

 

I thought the helicopter bits were great.

 

Nate is my favorite standup right now, for sure.

 

Hmmm I’m actually surprised to see the love for the new special. I had to turn it off almost half way through. I loved his last one , but wasn’t feeling it. Granted I was kinda tired. Maybe I’ll try again later in the week.

 

New Nate ruled. He’s just naturally funny.

The QAnon documentary on HBO is a must watch. I can’t believe these people exist.

 

Didn't even know HBO was putting out a QAnon doc. Part of me wants to watch, another part of me knows that it'll just infuriate me and ruin my day.

At one point this lady who’s an ex-columnist for the Tribune, who’s totally batshit crazy mind you, says that because she now “exposes satanic baby eaters” for a living, she could believe anything can be true. Even.....the Earth being flat, to which the interviewer questioned her on and she 100% confirms she would not be surprised. It’s a real trip.
