That reminds me I need to finish RAMY. Made it half way through S2 but then got distracted by other things.

Ramy rules. Season two took it to new heights. But man does that character make the WORST life decisions lol.

Plans are to watch Snyder’s cut tonight but what in the actual fuck is this 4 hour run time.

I hope it’s 4 hours of Snyder commentary saying “originally this is what I had planned....”

I'm gonna try and watch like 90 minutes of it tonight. Who the hell has 4.5 hours of free time for a movie?

Does anyone recommend Paramount+? Seems like a lot of it already exists on other streaming services, but half off is pretty tempting

It’s already up there with HBO max as one of my favorite streaming services. I’m loving the originals and focus on reality tv.

If you're a Star Trek fan, Discovery and Lower Decks are excellent.

I pretty much only use Paramount to watch Detroiters but I have watched both seasons twice since I signed up

I feel like I don’t want to have access to so much reality tv again. I gave enough of my teen years to Real World, Road Rules, Flavor of Love and Survivor.

  15. I have Disney Plus for Marvel and Star Wars stuff and HBO Max for DC and Cartoon Network stuff. Every now and then I'll get Hulu for FX stuff, or Amazon Prime for Mrs. Maisel. If I'm ever on my brother's Netflix, it's only to catch up on CW shows; I think She-Ra is the only Netflix original I've seen in the last few years. Paramount Plus doesn't have anything that really interests me.

Ok, so I have used the 15 second skip on multiple parts of ZS Justice League (usually on somebody sad and brooding about Superman). I am feeling hungry and paused to eat and go smoke a cigarette. I am 1 hour and 16 minutes in. Holy. Shit. This. Is. Long.

But beyond the fact that this seriously could’ve been trimmed down, I do think what I’m seeing so far is much better than the original.

I watched about 2 hours of the Snyder cut and called it a night. It's so unnecessarily long. A scene that should be 30 seconds long is dragged out for 15 minutes.

I’ve never seen the original release. Should I watch that before the Snyder cut? If I ever get around to it

I would say no. Not only was the original worse, but it's like a totally different movie. I think it'd just confuse you.

If you end up being curious enough & having enough time to watch both (which would be six full hours of more or less the same film, lol; good luck!), I actually think doing the theatrical after the new one would be more interesting.

That way you can first see, more or less, what WB had to work with after Snyder left the project, & then afterwards see what they turned it into.

Paramount Plus is alright. I signed up for the half off a year which was 50 bucks with no ads. It’ll be worth it once movies like A Quiet Place 2 start getting released on there. It has lots of old MTV reality and Nickelodeon shows if that’s your thing. Obviously lots of CBS stuff. I also signed up to be able to watch UEFA soccer competitions. Besides that the movie selection sucks for the most part. But for less than 4 bucks a month for no ads it’s a great deal.
