I'm probably in the minority but I'd love if they just brought it back to the meadlowlands parking lot. Asbury Park is cool being right on the water, but it is massively inconvenient to get to. Even if you were doing all three days, I don't think there are many hotels in the area to accommodate a large festival? I'm assuming that's what led to its downfall in 2012.

I would like to see it there again. Meadowlands is way easier to get to, and now with American Dream being open that's a good draw. If I remember with Asbury there was a lot of push back from the community as well.

People that went to Bamboozle back in the day, what were your experiences? I feel like most people I talk to who went to it said it was plagued with sound issues.

Not sure if it was Dashboard Confessional in general or the sound issue, but that was the worst performance I've ever seen for the initial Bamboozle Left.

I have nothing but fond memories of Bamboozle in the late 2000s at the Meadowlands. Never went to the Asbury one.

I remember there being a lot of mixing over between stages.

I went three times. Two at the Meadowlands and one at Asbury park. Each time the sound was bad. But I had a blast.

Weird to think that The Strokes are the oldest band on that lineup (correct me if I’m wrong tho)

Not saying it's a bad lineup, I see a lot of acts on their I'd wanna see. But I think we're not gonna be too wowed by these fall lineups, since a lot of acts are not gonna see the financial benefit of performing big festivals if they cannot have a nationwide tour to surround it. I'm talking the types of acts that require huge stage productions. It'd cost too much to rent and create all that stage production if they can't get a 40+ show itinerary around it.

Definitely going to be easier to book the acts you want to book next year
Yup, the undercard is severally lacking.

They're flying to LA to play with System of a Down, Korn, and Faith No More on the 22nd and 23rd. I was looking at the dates and wondering if they're still playing that show with these Oct dates until I saw they weren't playing the Dallas date.

I sold my DMX tickets two years ago because half the shows on the tour I heard he’d show up like 2-3 hours late and then play for 15 minutes.

Honestly I’d kill for a 15 minute concert right now.
