Korn III waa forgettable unfortunately. I think it would have been a better or even great album if Head was in the band at the time.

If you haven't already I highly recommend listening to Korn's last 2 albums. By far the best albums they've done since Untouchables and it's definitely because of Head.

 

Really enjoying the new Ghostemane. The NIN/Marilyn Manson influences are great.

 

Was lucky enough to catch them on the tour cycle of this album. Possibly their best album altogether.

I wish I liked more nü-metal tbh. like the stuff I love I really love but it’s not more than a handful of bands, all things considered.

early Korn, particularly the first two records; depending on where you draw genre lines, Around the Fur by deftones; Roots by Sepultura; I‘ve given some slipknot stuff a chance and I dig some things and others kinda miss me. idk I struggle to think of much else. I guess the first two Linkin Park records too, but they’re almost a different thing than those other bands I named to me

 

I fully agree, there are only a few bands I can get behind a whole album from in the genre - which is odd considering how much I enjoy it. After the obvious classics and personal nostalgic favs there's not much more I find myself loving.
