Yeah that SubRosa is interesting. I'm not familiar with them but that album has helped me sleep the past couple of nights lol

 

i've been jamming to the new Forteresse album all summer :

 

I have seen why you guys basically had these guys as the Gods of this thread at one point, if Gojira ever comes to Jacksonville, you better believe I'm buying tickets

 

So today I was the luckiest man alive, I drove up to Walmart to buy some stuff, I go into the CD section to grab some Avenged Sevenfold and I see something much better. Not only did I see Countdown To Extinction by Megadeth for 5 bucks there they also had For All Kings by Anthrax. But the joy for me doesn't stop there, after I got those (and Load by Metallica but Metallica isn't exactly a Walmart rarity lol) I went to Target because my girlfriend wanted some of those little Pop figures and I go into that CD section, the first thing I see is Dystopia by Megadeth also with a free vinyl that's being shipped to my house right now! What a day to be alive!

ehh they're pretty unique actually. they pioneered some grind and then transitioned into some melodeath

 

sounds interesting, just wondering since that deafheaven coheadliner is coming close by and im gonna hit it up

 

'Heartwork' is supposed to be their most experimental. I remember 'Surgical Steel' was making the rounds on p4k lists in '13. that was cool to see.

That whole album is amazing. Oddly enough I have yet to listen to Surgical Steel. Guess I know what I'll be jamming during work today.

I almost can't even believe anymore that this is the same band (well, more or less) who gave us Whoracle, The Jester Race, Clayman and Colony. And I even enjoy a handful of tracks from their last few albums. But come on guys.

I love it, it's more try not to destroy than the long goodbye, very chaotic and rough but plenty of sweeping, moving moments
