Probably not. But fuck me running, I would love nothing more than to see a non-WWE KO.

 

My gut says that Andrade would be joining his boys Rush and Dragon Lee in ROH so he can do NJPW shots without the political hassle. (Meltzer on his own message board says that Andrade was the guy who convinced Lee and Rush to stay with ROH when WWE came calling last year.)

But like @Drew Beringer, I can't help but daydream about Andrade and Zelina back together as a high level duo in AEW, re-living what made them so great on top of NXT.

In short, if I'm a guy who got signed early by AEW and haven't really been used for much of anything lately Joey Janela, I'd be worried they're going to start freeing up money with my deal getting cut.

 

Damn I won’t get to hear that beautiful music any longer

 

How soon would Andrade get tossed into a stable in AEW if he joined? AEW has a few too many of those going

I don't think there is anything wrong with stables or having too many - it makes the world they are building more realistic and that anything and anyone can cross over and interact at any time.

 

It's fun for sure, just feels like it doesn't always give everyone a chance to shine on their own. Idk lol

 

I think everyone has had plenty of time to shine or have shown that their time to shine will happen eventually

I mean yeah it's funny that there seems to be 20 stables on AEW but that also guarantees that those wrestlers get at least some TV time

Andrade would make a great addition to that group tbh. Especially if Zelina was with them too

 

one of my issues with AEW is that Santana and Ortiz should be given even more focus.

Was just gonna say, talk about a dude who is a perfect fit...and also perfect to try and force PAC out of the group if they want to move PAC into a bigger title feud or something.

Not sure when Sami's deal is up, but I'd honestly be stunned if he ever re-signs with WWE. He'll never clear the mid-card hurdle there when he could so easily have a Hangman Page level role in AEW.

KO just re-signed; maybe down the line in 3-4 years he goes if AEW is continuing to grow, but, right now I just dont see it. He has such an easy path to a tag team title win for the grand slam and a WWE HOF induction.

 

Honest question tho: is aew growing? The ratings are not, but they are well over 2 million yt subscribers by now.

Sami will re-sign if his contract is up. He’s constantly on TV, just come off a fairly entertaining IC run.

Some wrestlers know their ceiling and work as hard as they can to be the best they can. Sami is definitely one of those guys. Guys like him and Cesaro and Nakamura are talents that will put on good matches no matter what and WWE will always try to keep them and keep them happy.

 

It’s unfair to judge any of the wrestling shows ratings during a pandemic - I think having a crowd helps so much

 

WM is having a crowd this year right?

 

Maybe? They want 35k, but it's still up in the air
