I didn't like Bugsnax. But I did get a limited edition vinyl of the theme song so at least something good came from it.

 

That song is legit amazing

 

Only thing i’ve enjoyed from Bethesda was mainly the Wolfenstein series anyway, ESO is pretty fun too but that’s about it for me. Fallout and main Elder Scrolls games bore me so bad lmao

 

I wonder if they won't be buggy messes now that they're owned by Microsoft.

 

You'd hope so but I don't think they will be very hands on, at least not with the first round of games

 

I hope I'm not jumping the gun here because I've heard of people's orders being cancelled before but...

I was definitely interested in Bugsnax, but then a few people were saying it’s kinda depressing? The story that is.

 

The game had like no filler, I really enjoyed the story, getting to know all the characters, had a great time figuring out how to catch each and every Snak and the game ended with a platinum. Perfect game.

 

I'm so stoked to have these 20 Bethesda games on Game Pass now. I mean I already own 50% of these but still. Ever since the 360 I've leaned way more into the Xbox ecosystem than Playstation. I've had the PS3 and 4 mainly for those 2-3 exclusives I wanted to play. I'm hoping Fallout 4 and Skyrim get that FPS boost so I can have a good excuse to play a bit of those again. And DOOM 64?!?! Hell yeah take me back 1997 right now.

 

Correct me if I’m wrong but wasn’t Game Pass gonna be on the Switch at some point?

 

I may have asked this before, but can I play Ass Creed Valhalla if I haven't played any of the others? Or is that a mistake?

 

I've only played part of the first AC and loved Valhalla, I just ignored all of the "future stuff" and it doesn't really factor into the story that much until the end

 

The only games you might want to brush up on the story of before playing Valhalla are Origins and especially Odyssey (including the DLCs). I'm sure there are plenty of videos on YouTube that go over everything.

It appears that some things that are actually going on between Nintendo and Microsoft were over-interpreted. I do believe Microsoft wants Game Pass to be on Switch though. I also don't think Nintendo is hostile towards Microsoft.

 

Microsoft clearly thinks at least some of their games have a market on Switch. I was shocked when Ori 2 launched on Switch like only three months after it launched on Xbox. That was one of their marquee exclusives for 2020.

 

Microsoft and Nintendo held meetings back in 2019 to discuss opportunities with each other, but a lot of the details of the conversations were just rumors. There was a very prevalent rumor that they wanted to put the Xbox Live app on the Switch so people could be connected with their Gamerscore and account when they played Switch games, but that has yet to be a real thing.

 

I think the latter is not too unlikely to happen in the somewhat near future

My friend has been wanting a PS5 and has tried to get one while in stock for months but he never could. He finally caved and paid a scalper $700 about a month ago. Now the PS5 is showing white dots all over the screen and has been doing it for a couple weeks. Anyone else having this problem or know how to fix it? The warranty is void since he bought it from a scalper so Sony won’t fix it unless he pays them $200

 

If he has a receipt how would they know?
