I know this is a really shallow question but how "kiddy" is the Airbender franchise? I remember watching some episodes as a kid but never really got invested in it

 

The last airbender was very good. I thought the first few eps were kiddie but it settles in.

Only two episodes into korra and it's supposed to be very good as well. I'm sure it will also settle in after a few episodes as it establishes itself.

 

I was really convinced I wouldn’t like a kid’s show but then I ended up crying over some scenes lol. It has some things that I don’t think I would have understood fully as a kid watching it. I finished all of it in I think 2 weeks because I was so invested.

 

I’m not an avid Avatar fan, but I’d be surprised if someone who likes the Star Wars animated stuff like you do wasn’t able to get into it.

 

It's been a few years but Avatar (the Last Airbender--not a big fan of Korra) is definitely watchable for adults. Agree that first few episodes are a little kiddy, but it matures quickly. Extremely good show.

 

I’m currently 3/4 through a rewatch of Manic on Netflix. I like it even more the second time & loved it the first. Bring on the quirk!

But really they were about to start filming right before the virus hit. They were probably waiting until it was somewhat safe to film on the streets of NYC because I doubt they would have been willing to do it anywhere else.

 

Its about time for them to do this... Unfortunately.

 

My initial thought is always that they either didn’t like the houses at all, maybe the houses they already live in aren’t too bad or maybe they don’t want to stay in tennessee.
