I dated a Dominique a few years back.

I dated someone named Eric and it was hard to decipher who people were talking to. Everytime I hear "errand" I think someone is calling me.

My best friend in college from NC had a boyfriend named Kyle. I thought his name was Karl for a full year.

 

Re southern folks: no matter how I spell my name, they continue to refer to me as Dominique.

 

My dad's name is Jeff and so is my moms new husband. It's weird.
