On FM the year is 2030, I'm in my 4th season with Valencia and I've built a monster

Still can't win a cup competition though.

  4. Second game in a row Kane scores a brace and then clears one of the line on defense

Really good result considering we keep on fucking ourselves over. The team absolutely love Elneny which was clear in his goal celebrations which is nice.

I am absolutely dreading the NLD

Falling out over hiring a Director of Football apparently. Wilder is dead set against it and wants to retain control.

Those damn snowflake lefty Director of Football making the game go soft.

I know he's a hero for making the club what it is, but wasting nearly £50 million on Brewster and Ramsdale is evidence enough that a DoF is needed.

That Wednesday fan around here should be delighted that Wilder is going.

Yeah I've already seen a few wildly celebrating on social media haha. Predicting a derby might be possible in a few years (insinuating they'll both be back in League One soon enough).

I was trying to describe myself to someone

Is Ramsdale a bad signing? I think this came up somewhere recently that people have been shitting on him, but he's actually been having a decent season behind a useless defence. He's sat 13th in shot % saved and 15th in terms of goals conceded per 90, but he's also faced the second most shots of anyone in the league.

I mean, if he's been dropping absolute clangers then I stand corrected, but the numbers would suggest he's not the problem.

Oh, I don't know the stats behind it. Every game I've watched of them, he seems to either drop a clanger or have paper hands and let one through, but maybe it's not been as bad as it seems. He's only 20 (I believe) so there's no reason he can't come good, and being dropped in at the deep end in a team as uncompetitive as they've been this season probably hasn't helped.

I'm not great with footy stats, but a quick Google seems to have him 5th in the league for mistakes leading to goals (behind Xhaka, Alisson, Kepa and Pickford) with 3 mistakes, but then Pope is 6th so maybe that isn't the best metric to use.

Going to be sad when Heccy leaves for PSG as rumoured.

    hmmm

For some reason I've sat through the first seventy minutes of Newcastle/Aston Villa. Easily the worst game I've seen all season.

1-1. Both teams deserved to lose. Newcastle were awful, Villa were even worse.

    Just go down, Newcastle. Please.

Grealish should use that game as evidence that he deserves a triple salary rise. Villa were so bad, I actually wondered at one point if there was a fix going on.

Everyone did that thing when Villa had like 4 games in hand of automatically adding the max points on, but I think having games in hand isn't really that much of an advantage this year when everyone is inconsistent and the schedule is brutal.

Plus, with by far your best and most creative player out, you're going to struggle.

Hopefully Jack comes back and they pick up again soon, he's possibly my favourite non-Arsenal player in the league to watch.

Lewy is now joint second best goalscorer in the Buli with Klaus Fischer with 268 goals. Gerd Müllers record is 365.

If I could relegate any team out of pure spite, it would easily be Burnley.
