I would expect, most, if not all festival and large stadium/arena tours to be issuing similar statements in the very near future.

Have a friend who heard Shadow Of The City is proceeding with their Sept date and have been able to secure St Vincent and Phoebe Bridgers. Take this with a grain of salt, but he’s had inside info on Gov Ball and Panorama in the past.

OH MY GOD. I'll buy a ticket for that in a heartbeat.
Is Shadow of the City still a 1 day fest, or did they expand to 2?

Interesting lineup, that DFA1979 set will probably have 100 people at it, I don’t really get them on this lineup.

Also, does Billie have new music coming? Very rare to see a #1 on a festival lineup have one LP to pull from, impressive.

I’m glad I’m not the only one that thought Green Day was a weird get for this festival

I would love if I can attend this festival. Glass Animals, Lany, All Time Low, Trevor Daniel, Death From Above 1979, Billie Eilish, Modest Mouse are enough for me to try and go

A few weeks ago I was thinking there was absolutely no way there would be concerts in the fall and that everything would be pushed back to early 2022. Just recently I've become very optimistic. I know many people who have already got the vaccine, I'm told my entire work will be able to get it within the month, and rates are down.

Of course it wouldn't surprise me at all if everything gets pushed back to 2022 but I have my hopes up now.

It's a lot easier to be optimistic when the things that are actively in motion are happening to you. I just got my second dose a couple days ago, and I'm definitely optimistic that I at the very least can go to the movie theaters by the end of the year and maybe even go to see the shows I bought tickets to last year.

Even if festivals end up getting cancelled or postponed, it's totally normal to prepare and announce a festival lineup that could potentially happen in September anyway.

Slam dunk Fest here in the UK got moved to the first weekend of September and quite a few bands couldn't make the rescheduled dates. These include Wonder years, motion city soundtrack, the used, code orange, dance Gavin dance and young guns. I assume most of these have US tours penciled in around then

Not sure where else to put this, but Ohio just announced anyone 16 or older will be eligible for the vaccine starting March 29.
