    hey you lil piss baby

Not much has hit for me yet this year. Pooh Shiesty and Gates are the only two I have downloaded to my phone. The Maassai tape is good too.

Yeah this has been a realllllly slow year for hip-hop for me, not even a ton of singles that have stuck with me. BUT I find that's been true about all genres for me this year, it just feels like so many artists are waiting... waiting... waiting to tour to release anything

Off the top of my my head, my top five white (English speaking) rappers dead or alive:

    MCA
    Evidence
    The Grouch
    Intuition
    Mac Miller

I’m happy to say that none of them tried to sound like Eminem. I could replace Mac Miller with Action Bronson, but The Divine Feminine made me give the spot to Mac.

The Gabe ‘Nanded EP is probably the only rap release I got into so far this year. I haven’t heard a lot of full releases though.

I do like Kabul Fire Vol. 2 by Farhot A LOT, but that’s mostly instrumental.

Bubba Sparxx first album was actually ok. I have no doubt he's probably a Trumper by now.

Gotta throw El-P on any white rapper list lol

I'm actually having a hard time thinking of a rapper that strikes me as intentionally trying to sound like Em. Sometimes Yelawolf I guess but not always

There are some forgotten solid white rappers from like the late 80s and early 90s too. Like MC Serch for example was pretty cool. Plus there’s Slug and guys like that that aren’t really known for being white rappers (Evidence and The Grouch would fall under that category too I think).

I hope not. He really did have bangers.

Some of those Christian rappers are Eminem-ish I think.

How can you forget the god that is NF??? Although he'd probably be offended by me calling him "god".

Also I’m sure there is this Eminem-wannabee sub-scene that has like the same kind of fans as Hopsin and Strange Music

Having a quick google, I can't see him doing anything too shitty. Still ok to bump Ugly haha

People talk about Deliverance sometimes too I think. Maybe I’m misremembering though. Never really checked his stuff out in terms of full albums back then.

Deliverance had a few bangers on it too.

Saw Bubba Sparxxx live once. He had Princess Superstar supporting him. She was on for about 40 minutes and was still on at just before 10. The crowd DID NOT like her. The show was supposed to end at 11 and Bubba still hadn't come out. He eventually came out at about half 10, played for just under half an hour and left. People were not happy!

I only ever saw one bad performance, Mos Def. Otherwise it was all great. I basically only saw legends though.
