I won’t be able to make it this year, but I adore HHN, so I’m glad to hear it’s coming back this year.

15% Capacity and only CA residents... they'll be more CM's than park guests for a hot minute. And those tickets, I thought getting RotR was tough to get. Can't imagine how hard those will be to get.

Thought I heard Disneyland will only be open to CA residents, but there’s lots of rumors going around with the announcement so who knows.
As much as I’d love to go back to Disney, I’m still holding off. I’d like the dining plan to be a thing again when I go back to World too, lol

Guess they’re really expecting things to return to normal by then, otherwise they’d open it sooner. Ugh

I’ll be there mid Sept and expect them to soft open by then. From what I’ve heard it’s basically ready to open.

Just booked a trip to Universal for July. Going kid free! In case anyone plans a Universal trip, their deuce resorts are 50% cheaper when you have an annual pass. An annual pass is only like $60 more than a 2 day ticket. It was $400 cheaper to get two annual passes and stay at the hotel than get a 2 day ticket. Bizarre.

If it’s safe to do so, i’ll be hammered in the German Pavillion in September.

No one in our family got Covid from our trip there last week (tested 4 days after we returned). Masked up at all times except eating. Hand san stations everywhere. Distance in lines. It's safe.

Booked a 4-day trip to Disney end of April. I'll be fully vaccinated by then, so very excited. First time taking our 5 year-old.

    Question; what's everyone's theme park attire go-to's?

I'm thinking about picking up some of Chubbie's 6" Everywear Stretch Shorts. Thought was they are lightweight, which is a plus, but also water resistent so I could do more of the water rides and not feel miserable afterwards. Also, Florida storms.

Everywear 2.0 has a DWR (durable water-resistent) fabric finish, anti-microbial properties and is super lightweight and stretchy. Perfect for hiking, lounging or swimming, its tech and fuctionality mean you can wear these everywhere.

For a shirt, I have a Nike Dri-Fit I use for hiking, but I'm not crazy about it.

  16. Those shorts sound like a good plan and a non-rubbing shirt is smart. Shoes are always my first thought. I usually buy some new nike roches before going to WDW but I would probably go with a new pair of Allbirds next time around. And comfy shoes. And healing balm for any chaffing or sores.

What shirt brand do you go with? I have Patagonia shirts too for hiking, but they're much too tight for Florida's humidity.

And for theme parks I usually wear my Ultraboosts. But for this trip, I might bring two shoes.

  18. I found something at Costco last time we went. I wanna say they were under armor? I think we brought some nipple balm, too, since my wife had some from nursing anyway. Lol

I've been going to Universal/Disney for the past five years ('15-'19) mostly in Sept/Oct, and I just can't do cotton shirts anymore. Shorts either.
