I’m truly shocked with how good Bale has been lately, and I’m so, so happy with it.

They badly need a finisher. Created so many chances yesterday and squandered all but one.

  9. Kane POTY please

I have a feeling that may depend on where Spurs finish in the table... If Bruno has similar numbers I could see it going to him just if United finishes higher.

  11. Yeah, I was thinking that too. But we seem to be back to form so we could finish close to top 4 or maybe even within it.

    hmmm

Switch Maupay with Callum Wilson this season and you'd definitely be down, I think.

West Brom - Newcastle may be on paper the least interesting game in premier league history.

If Sheffield United, West Brom and Newcastle get relegated, the league will improve dramatically next year.

  15. I’m hoping those are the 3 that go down. Fulham and Brighton are on the brink of being very solid mid table teams. They both need to improve their CF imo.

Fulham have only lost one game in their last 7 matches which was the 1-0 defeat to Spurs. And they should’ve had a point in that one too. In those 7 matches they’ve only conceded two goals. They are playing very well defensively.

Absolutely. We're lucky that someone at the club still has their brain well enough engaged to snap up the likes of ASM and Wilson. Tbh, recruitment has been pretty decent the last few years, but the money hasn't been there to strengthen in as many positions as we need.

Terribly sorry that we bore some of you. I'll see if the owner fancies murdering the club in a quieter, less intrusive manner for you all. :crylaugh:

The worrying thing for Fulham if they stay up is how many of their key players are there on loan - Areola, Andersen, Aina, Lemina, RLC, Lookman, Maja all played against Liverpool (and all but RLC were in the starting XI), are they going to be able to buy all of them to keep that core together?

As mentioned, I actually like Newcastle, I hope Ashley manages to find a buyer that isn’t a horrific despot. They are a club with HUGE potential.

It’s my classic FM strategy. If I’ve learned one thing from that game, it’s that they will go overboard signing players on long deals and end up being even worse next year :crylaugh:

Chelsea winning 1-0 again. Interesting game tactically - straight 1v1 battles across the pitch a lot of the time. Iwobi switched off for the goal - easy interchange and he let Alonso go free.

Everton don't have much on the bench at all. Ancelotti may have to find a solution with his current eleven.

Would've been fine not giving that as handball for me. Last season that probably wouldn't have been given.

Ball was hitting the middle of his upper arm. Even with the new rule that's a handball.

New rule is the t-shirt line isn't it? It is for the offsides. That's pretty much t-shirt line. It's a shame a nice goal for disallowed for it at least.

It's not really the end of the sleeve. That's a misconception. It just got shifted down a bit from the top of the arm to a little bit underneath.

Looks rough on Zouma. Never nice to see a player go down like that.
