It's Bundesliga. There are plenty of good aspects to the league and the games are often fun to watch but pretty much every team gives you a chance. You get attacking space to run into that you just don't get in the Premier League or La Liga. It's why Werner has turned up in the PL and looked lost so far.

 

Defense has been garbage, obviously but moving to a back five and taking Can and Delaney out of the midfield really shows how weak we are there too.

 

I get your point but today should not be normalized in any way... Bayern had more shots today than they did in their 8-0 season opener vs. Schalke.

to be fair you don't need more than 8 shots to score 8 against Schalke this season

1-0 down to Fulham at half time and we're flattered by that. If they'd got their final pass right we'd be two or three down.

Again no intensity in the pressing, easy to play through in midfield, big spaces behind, back line not coordinated, not adjusting to the problem down our right. And those are just the defensive aspects.

 

I really really hope Fulham stay up. A good summer window and they could easily establish themselves as a mid table team. They play really good football.
