goddamn that Ocean Avenue rollout was awful. Still have no idea if my original order went through or not (both variants). But after realizing the site was fucked up I went back and tried to place another order but the yellow was sold out so got the black. Received a paypal and field day order notification for the black, but only a paypal notification for my original order. So I have no clue if that actually went through or not. Receiving a paypal notification at least gives me a little hope that it went though.

 

Got a PP receipt for yellow, nothing from Field Day. I’ve got a bad feeling :/

 

I just emailed them to see if my order went through or not.

 

They already emailed me back and said my order with the singular black copy was canceled / refunded and the order with both variants was confirmed, so somehow this worked out very nicely.

 

what Info did you provide them in your request? Just the PayPal transaction info?

 

Yeah I just sent a screenshot of my PayPal email and they replied fairly quickly telling me they showed two orders under my email in their system. But they haven’t replied yet with an actual order number so hopefully that email will come soon.

Did anyone see an expected ship date for these? Can’t seem to find one.

EDIT: Finally received an order confirmation.

 

Yea that Field Day was a hot mess, but I got an email stating that it went through for the yellow variant so I’m pretty freakin excited!!!!!

Edit: After cleaning the record I'm pretty fucking annoyed cause the b side of Chasing saftey is super fucked, skipping all over the place on dangerous business and a little on down set go. does seem to get a little better as the needle moves closer to the middle but fuck. when others get it would be interested to know if I'm alone in this.

Just got my Underoath set today as well! It's essentially a box with the three individually wrapped albums in it but I love the original artwork of those albums so it's nice

Just listened, wtf. It’s totally unlistenable. It’s skips huge chunks of the song. Hopefully the rest of the records don’t have that issue.

that's my twitter ^, was just trying to make sure it wasn't just my copy (which it's not) but I've reached out to the transmissions email about it. I'll post in here if/when they respond.

 

I had been kind of regretting not buying the full set (I already have a copy of They're Only Chasing Safety and made a mediumly responsible financial decision for once), but I'm both now glad I didn't and still disappointed that the pressing seems like it has a lot of problems (on top of the delays).
