Yeah with this kind of build up I sure hope it isn’t some former sports star or a mid carder from WWE. Angle or Foley just seems not that important since neither can wrestle anymore and they already have a lot of old guys in non wrestling roles. Someone from New Japan would be preferred. I totally expect the ladder match surprise to be from Impact or the indies. Don’t know if his involvement with MLW prevents it, but Lio Rush would be great in AEW.

 

Wouldn't WWE keep Christian around to use in some capacity for the Edge/Roman match?

 

There's already a deathmatch on the show. i don't think I could handle that much more excitement.

 

They said they're signing a multi-year contract; aint no way Okada left NJPW to come to AEW without absolutely imploding any crossover between the companies.
