creeping up to my favorite song released this year so far

 

Been into scattered singles over the past few years, but never been this excited for material from them before.

 

This song is living rent-free in my head.

hell yes - chorus is absolutely gargantuan. what a wow moment

this is creeping up to being an AOTY contender

Kinda hoping for some heavier things on this. That was a bit underwhelming for me.

I'm enjoying the more pop focused direction. More for my sensibilities. They're not losing anything since they're being more creative around how to sound heavy in spite of all of this.

 

Lol ok good. I won't give up hope.

 

That was insane. This skyrocketed to my most anticipated.

anyone good with music theory - can someone tell me the time signatures of average death, I can't figure it out

 

Entire song is in 3/4 I think

 

Definitely catch that at the end but the syncopation of the drums throws me for a loop haha

 

Yeah the phrasing of the drums and the vocals make it kinda hard to latch onto in the verses especially. Listen to the bass and tap your foot along to that

 

All Futures blew my mind.
