  1. His IG

  2. Kevin Holland looks like a complete asshat right about now

  3. Assuming he stays retired, that’s one of the bigger what if’s to me when it comes to a singular fighters career.

Overall you could say what if Fedor came to the UFC right away from pride but

I’m hoping for best case scenario here and that it’s just out of frustration with his health. I’m hoping he comes out healthy either way, but ideally he ends up healthy enough to make his return eventually.

Any professional fighter can knock someone out with a well placed and well timed head kick, but Jon isn’t exactly a power puncher. Don’t think he has any real chance at knocking out the likes of Stipe, Ngannou, Lewis, etc.

Yeah, Jones is going to be more of a volume fighter at HW. That being said if he can implement a gameplan similar to Gane, but with more volume he may be impossible to beat if he can avoid damage.

Two big back to back yikes. I though for sure Luke was gonna retire after that last smashing.

  10. There’s not many guys I want to see Luke fight.

I guess maybe Hermansson would be fine.

I won’t lie his 2014-15 run to the title was really good and he was super hyped. But the more his personality came to light and he saw harder opponents the deflation came quickly. His last fight against Jan he looked stiff and slow.

  12. How can one person be so dumb and have such a big following?

I won't judge his personality, but no shame in losing to (an overweight) Yoel. In hindsight, he had no business going to 205, but even then, Jan was coming off a loss. He just had so many injuries, that leg was real gross for a while. I hope he's healed up enough. Rockhold v Till would get me going if Till wins.

Reminds of when Hendo was chugging water to make it OVER the 205 minimum for his Heavyweight fight with Fedor lol.

I can't believe he doesn't cut at least a little more to get to Middleweight if that's his natural weight. He will likely be outweighed by 30 lbs here. But who knows, his fighting style doesn't exactly require mass amounts of muscle to be successful so I guess I'm not surprised lol

Yeah correct in that his Kickboxing based style requires less mass. Much like Silva, his natural body structure and length allow for him to generate the power/speed combo from his hips. They are able to easily move out of the way with their feet planted, while catching those hard counters without needing a wind up.

The one person to walk through it so far and successfully land trying to close the gap was Gastelum. But even he couldn’t land anything hard enough to finish him and wound up dropped after a while. Same thing with Bobby Knuckles. Closed the gap, landed hard, but never clean enough to be substantial and ate worse counters.

Yeah I’m pretty hyped myself. A lot of potential FOTN material.

Yeah this is the most stacked card in a long time. The main card is amazing. Possible Number one contender fight at LHW opening things up is insane and Dober/Makhechov should be great as well. Prelims are also great. Cruz/Kenney and Benavidez/Askarov are super fun fights.

I try not to hype myself up on these cards that are absolutely stacked on paper, but then there are other times it has absolutely paid off... That card with GSP vs. Bisping had three title fights and was one of the greatest cards of all time. haha. I'll for sure be buying this one though. Several of my family members are actually really excited to watch Nunes, which I'm pleasantly surprised about.

JDS and Overeem both released by UFC. Hopefully they both retire though I could see Bellator trying to sign at least JDS.

I’m not surprised, unfortunately. I’m sure Reem and JDS get paid very well even when they keep losing so it makes sense on the UFC’s part.

Reem probably still has some wins left in him if he chooses to keep moving forward, but I think the UFC was mainly seeing if he could make one last title run out of respect.

JDS hasn’t looked good in years though. One solid win against Lewis that aged nicely, but his predictable style is not going to let him improve considering he STILL has not fixed the obvious holes in his game.
