That britt nyla match was so weird, feels like it could’ve been awesome but the producing messed it all the way up. For some reason aew thought they were going to commercial and britt left the ring to kick around some trash cans and I’m pretty sure someone yelled “we're still live” lol the camera work was brutal as well, just some dumb stuff

I thought the eliminator tournament was about finally putting the belt on Britt, but I don't know what they're doing now. Seems like the division would benefit from having a champion who can carry segments. I like riho/nyla/shida, but I think the division's been hurt not just by how shallow it is, but by never yet having a compelling champion/title storyline. I guess the counter argument is that Britt is the only one capable of having a compelling non-title feud right now, so putting the belt on her might just shrink the relevance of the division even further.

 

Maybe Thunder Rosa wins and actually signs with the company?

 

Wouldn’t it have been britt vs rosa as the final then? Maybe not, I guess

 

I think they're just setting up a challenger for Shida to beat honestly. I also would've thought this would be for Britt, I really don't know what they're waiting for. She's the obvious top star in that division

 

Put the belt on Rosa, she has a challenger in Britt, right out the gate if they wanted to.

 

Frankly, if Yuka Sakazaki doesn't win, I don't give a shit

Haven't really watched much New Japan Strong, but that was pretty damn good. It's short and to the point and gives you a glimpse at guys you don't normally get to see on the regular NJPW shows. I knew the main event would be great, but I was really pleasantly surprised by Narita vs Dickinson. Awesome match!
