Chelsea look dirt poor. We’re definitely losing this

 

It's a very cautious approach from Tuchel so far. Giroud's slow and dropping deep, and Mount and Ziyech don't stretch a defence - makes it simple for Man United to squeeze them into their own half. They're well ordered but I wonder when he'll make changes to actually stretch them.

 

Our pressing has been better than usual but you can see that Ole isn’t a “pressing first” manager. It’s a bit haphazard compared to actual pressing teams.

 

Yeah there's no real coordination to it. Compared to Southampton or Leeds, or some of the German teams, where they go hunting in packs, have "triggers", follow each other. It allows teams to pick us off quite easily, as there's usually someone slacking and hasn't gone with their man.

 

Yeah it works for a couple of passes but then teams can skip right by.

 

It’s insane that they can keep fouling on our counter and foul Dan James off the ball and not get yellow cards.

 

I’m pretty sure they’re trying to injure James for some reason

 

Not watching the match but doesn’t seem like anything is working so expecting Ole to sub out some players at 85’+

 

Looks like Pulisic will be playing through the middle.

I wasn’t even that pissed off at the penalty, I could accept the the ref is just really fucking shit and blind. But if that’s true it’s (in the immortal words of Didier Drogba) a disgrace
