I don't feel like Simple Math (the song) gets nearly enough attention these days. It's one of their masterpieces, especially with the video.

I remember being so excited and then so mad at that set when it came out because Jeremiah wasn’t with them.

I’m sure the guy playing with them was nervous as all hell though, I think they said he had to learn the songs they played in like a crazy short amount of time.

Care to clear it up? I had heard some not fantastic things about younger Andy’s personality, so it seemed odd Chris left around black mile which is why it made sense it was a creative difference.

but his battered wife comments were pretty extreme.

 

Not really, but it in no way shape or form is as scandalous as people have tried to assume.

It was a personal painful break up.

 

I will say this, note that Brooks is still NOT an official member of the band, and it seems it’s to stay that way.
