ManchesterOrch8 lost touch with the band. He was out of the loop on the release cycle.

Andy disowned him. I think it was because he teased Brian Fallon as an opener for their 2019 METN tour, but nobody can be sure.

 

Oh, and he hasn't made good on eating a shoe.

I think constantly flaunting being so well-connected to the band and being so adamant about them not releasing a record only to have them announce one like a week later is hilarious and enough of a public ego hit that the shoe isn't even necessary.

Also, why ruin a perfectly good shoe? What will happen to the other? Poor lonely shoe without its twin.

I know people who I’m sure have the album but would never do anything like leak anything that wasn’t put out through the official channels. That is wild that someone got an apparent very early listen.

 

I had a buddy who worked for Concord Music Group for 10+ years and had a copy of ABMTTS in MARCH of 2017. He wasn’t even a fan of MO but loved the album and offered to have me listen to it but I declined. He had the album and the name of the album well before it was announced (I remember DMing a few people who asked for title of album)
