Well a chopper is slang for a gun. The line implies that he wasn’t ready for a hit on him, so he’s going to die with his gun.

Then chopper = helicopter, so it leads into the second part of the line.

it’s tasteless, which is why it wasn’t released, but I still respect the wordplay. This isn’t the rapgenius annotation thread tho so I’ll stop derailing it

 

Hard to get an idea of a hit being on him when you see the previous line, but I’m not about to listen to the song, and haven’t listened to the man before, so I will take your word for it lol
