24 shinies today, 5 of which were new for me. Good stuff.

 

Here's the shinies I got today:
Pidgey
Pikachu
Sandshrew x2
Paras
Psyduck
Bellsprout
Geodude
Exeggcute x3
Hitmonchan
Lickitung
Chansey
Tangela
Ditto
Mewtwo

They were all new for me except Chansey, Tangela and Mewtwo. I couldn't really play much for the last 5 hours though because I was working at 4PM. Also finished every tasks (apart from the shiny Mew one, but that's supposed to take a long time)

 

I have to find some trades for the damn ditto

 

I've been playing this again lately, mainly for Great League. It's still fun by I kinda wish more Pokemon had better movesets.

 

Missed a good chunk of the event on Saturday, but managed to snag a shiny Vulpix, Hitmonchan, Lapras, and Ditto (did everyone get a shiny Ditto from one of the research tasks?)

Not sure why I'm currently stressing about trying to evolve a Flareon for the one task, because there's no way I'm snagging enough candies to evolve one of my Magikarp in the next 6 days or however long until it expires.

 

I wish I could get a shiny that isn’t Pikachu!

 

I can't finish the 151 collection because regionals aren't in raids all week, kinda shitty.

 

Fortunately, I was able to finish them because I live in Florida and it's an absolute free for all here with no restrictions in place (Just had my wife drive me to the gyms and soloed them to get the regionals out of the way), but I agree that it's pretty shitty of them to do that especially considering the fact that we didn't even really know that they were raid exclusive and they were only going to be available on Saturday until like a day or two before the event started. I find that to be a slap in the face to people that purchased the ticket. Here is to hoping maybe they will put them back in raids and reopen the collection challenges for the makeup day, but it's Niantic so I highly doubt it.

 

Yeahhhh. I did two of the regionals earlier in the day, but wasn't near any gyms for the latter half of the day which I thought wouldn't be an issue, but here we are.... oh well

 

Pretty stupid that they say you have 7 days to complete it but there's no way to get the regionals without cheating.

Seriously. The raid discord. We did all the regional and legendary raids all day.

 

I guess my point is I could have done them all on Saturday, but chose to spend the time shiny checking instead. If I knew ahead of time that was my ONLY chance for legendaries, that woulda changed thigns

I always end up muting the Discords and forgetting I'm part of them. Too many alerts for me.

Maybe I really shouldn't get on Discord

 

I mute everything unless I'm @-d (which includes @everyone and @here for the raids). Helps me not miss any raids, but also removes all the notifications otherwise.
