Tuned in late, just as he was starting "Changes" but so awesome so far. Excited to rewatch and see what I missed!

 

Fortunate to be watching this with my mom, her main thoughts so far are, “why is he wearing that hat, is he cold?! Show me a picture where he looks nice. Oh see he’s handsome!” She likes it though! Country is her favorite genre so we can meet in the middle at Dirt Emo, it’s perfect!

That was so great. There really is such a difference between the energy of doing it live and producing it immaculately as a recording. I prefer the former.

I've rewatched the concert about 3 times now and the VIP twice. Good background music for working.

i love the ostinato feel of the drums and guitar on that. I feel like he likes to get a little weirder with in between record releases, (Weeping Willow) I wonder if this is that this time around.

 

I also love the dreamy reverb on top of that repetition. So stoked for this song!
