You can run a wheel route, they have a few off those in the standard plays.

 

Not seeing a ton. The problem is that the 49ers are a 3-4 team so many of their players don't really slot too well into what I want to do on defense. The only players that I like really off your defense are Aaron Lynch, and Eric Reid. Corey Lemonier & Eli Harold fit what I want in my defense but neither are very desirable players as they both have a lot of work to do.

If you were a 4-3 team and had better options for me this probably wouldn't be so difficult but the whole 3-4/4-3 thing makes it tough unfortunately.

Nah. I'm typically not this (rather, I don't try to be) difficult with trades but trading a franchise QB is something I have to make sure I am happy with, especially because I'm going to be starting a sub 70s shitter QB. So I have to make sure I am winning it at a position I know I can be happy with.

Ian is good but I just don't know if he's franchise QB good, ya know? When we started talking about Bortles this morning, I knew he was decent but I didn't think much more than that but he got a nice ratings boost and is actually quite solid. I probably should have done that first before just engaging in trade talk at 5:30AM.

 

Lane might be on the move and I don't want to trade Jmatt. I'd only move Tunsil on that list. Add a 4th and I'll do it.

True that man, I completely understand. I'll leave whichever deal we've discussed today on the table just in case you change your mind. Bortles is a very solid QB, so don't sweat it, I know exactly where you're coming from

I'm probably going to keep them. They're two of like five bright spots I have on the team, so I'm probably going to hold on to them. I'd be willing to trade Reid but I'm just a big fan of his game IRL, so I'm a bit excited to force some fumbles with him

And Lynch is just very good. I'd probably feel bad if I gave him up in any deal for any player
