I like Bed Head. I think the video and quality of the audio added something nice. So nice to have new music from MO and this track is interesting and layered. Feels like a hybrid of some of their previous works.

On a side note, I think it’d be cool to hear a it as a Hope version and METN version for fun. It realistic but I guess this could happen in live setting someday where it’s guitar heavy or toned down in a more acoustic environment.

 

This needs to be made into a feature film.

I think this has been the most successful launch of a new record for them yet.

At least in terms of cash flow, I assume.

It may not hit the same ~sales numbers~ as prior records, but in the new industry, it’s lookin’ pretty good.

 

Maybe Loma Vista can throw some of their unused Manson money to Manchester now.

I’m not aware of any 7” singles coming yet, but probably sooner than later.


Also, I think the mass amount of variants are in response to Covid.

I guess creating 12 special vinyl revenue streams is how you offset no touring money coming in.

If "The Silence" didn't exist, I'd be ready to call this song my favorite MO song so far. I can't believe how amazing this is. It's been a long time since I've had this much confidence in an upcoming album being a masterpiece.

 

Wow, shot up to one of my most anticipated. Now it’s time for a discog run. Still one of my favorite concert experiences was in a tent at SXSW in 2009 where they headlined with Annuals and Kevin Devine around when METN came out.
