Theories on the song meaning of Bed Head?

Maybe regret about letting a relationship fail, but finally coming to terms with it and moving on to live for something else (possibly a child from the relationship)?

Where Have You Been is one of those songs, that was easily my favorite MO song for the first 5-6 years I liked the band, but the studio version is forever ruined after seeing it live so many times. It is one of my favorite live songs of all-time and the album version just doesn't do it justice anymore.
