honest question - when you decide to listen to the album, do you just have one copy thats the one you play or do you rotate them in and out? I have a couple records where I have 2 copies and i only play one of them.

Having the Andy connection is helpful, I always feel weird about chatting him up too much, so I leave it sporadic for when he is back in Orlando and wants to get his kids in Disney lol.

I have a couple glow in the dark LPs and they don't require as much pre-work as these things used to when I was a kid. Plus, it's a cool effect when the lights are off.

They’ve worked out the kinks since we got our glow in the dark stickers from the book fair in 1997.

 

God those stickers. I also loved these glow in the dark shoe laces I had on my LA Gears. What a time to be alive.

 

My mother rocked LA Gears on occasion until maybe 8 years ago.

I was floored when I noticed.

 

song didn't grab me upon first listen! video was kind of interesting and some nice vocal melodies for sure but overall didn't like the drum programming or the main riff much at all. liked the live performance of black mile a lot but honestly haven't grown to love those songs more than i did the first year i had that record either. this type of big rock may be less and less what i need as a listener but still cool to see how voracious the support remains for 'em

 

Damn the vinyl book is sold out now too.

 

Glad they stayed true to form with this LP. Other bands should take note and mimic this approach.

The Barnes & Nobel variant is my favorite since it matches the cover, but there's no detail on whether its a "deluxe" or not so I'm sticking with my bandcamp deluxe for now.

I'm not really concerned with features or like....the Earth of Echo soundtrack. But it looks like I'm missing a couple Obscura variants and that's it.

I should update my discogs.
