Got the hardcover book vinyl and the Internet merch bundle. Beyond stoked at how good this stuff is.

is the glow in the dark sleeve the inner sleeve, or an extra sleeve that goes on top of the normal stock sleeve?

EDIT: Okay glow in the dark jacket... hmm that is tempting since it is the prettiest variant IMO

Six.. I don’t have a clue. I bought a second copy because I want to have the book and also the special cover of the deluxe edition.

RE: patreon exclusive selling out- I think it was pretty implied that they were doing something big that very much looked like an album announcement + single rollout. They also very much do like to take care of the patrons. I think if I would have done it differently, I would have sent an individual e-mail to each of the supporters with a unique code that allows them to purchase one each, and then everyone could have had the opportunity.

I’m def a casual fan who really only got into their last album (which I freakin loved) but holy shit this song is AWESOME.

when I first started getting in to vinyl I was all about just getting standard pressings of my faves...I’m slowly getting into purchasing limited variants of my favorites but yet to purchase multiples of a single album...I guess that the next step in the progression

I'd hate to spend like $600 on an album and then dislike it when you finally hear it.

I guess you could always resell your vinyl and make $1,000.

I was too enticed by the glow in the dark vinyl jacket and got the deluxe one off their site! Such a cool album theme to have glow in the dark. It will be the only one in my collection like it

Variant collecting can be an investment if you're smart about it. At one point I had each variant of the SSTB repress which would be a gold mine if I still had it.

Because I enjoy people continuously asking this question when they look at my shelves.

And, I must have been dropped on my head.

I honestly never even listen to my vinyl, so it's really hard to justify buying multiple variants of the same album. Out of my 175ish collection, I still have about 40 or so that I never opened. The rest I have listened to mostly just once. I can think of maybe five records that I have listened to multiple times.

Because one day I saw @ManchesterOrch8 had the most MO vinyl and I felt the competitive drive take over.

Is something else gonna happen today? Just realize Andy’s post after midnight said “see y’all tomorrow.”

I used to listen to my records all the time, but now most of the time I open them, admire them, play side A while looking at everything, keep it on the player for a while, then not listen again for a good long time.

As a kid glow in the dark things only worked if you held them up to a light for a long time and then went in your bathroom with the lights off really quickly after. That doesn't seem practical for an LP jacket.

Holy shit what a song. My God. The millisecond it was over I preordered the Brooklyn Vegan variant. It said the the 3 things I needed to see, "limited to 500". Done. Boom. Sold. Didn't think about. Should I have went with the tye dye looking one from that other place? No ones knows. Who cares. Heck didn't even see the MO official store until now. I haven't had my record player hooked up in 2 years. Oh well. Gimme that blue wax.

    This band.
