Gear question for the group: my LP-120 was connected to a separate receiver and amp (an old Onkyo set from my parents back in the day). The amp has seemingly run its course and now I’m wondering how to go on, anyone care to recommend their setup? I don’t feel too strongly towards replacing the amp, a combo receiver/amp, or just using active speakers, but Id like a good balance between sound and convenience/portability even if it costs a bit more.

 

Blue Album, Nevermind, and mAAd City off that Target deal.

So for xmas wife got me this record and when I opened it the vinyl was the C and D sides from a kendrick lamar record lol no serpentine prison, basically was shit out of luck/couldn't prove it or w.e BUT just received a correctly packaged album as a vday gift, Damn. indeed

Still bummed I missed out on the National colored variants of cherry tree and sad songs. Did not imagine they would sell out so quick and was trying to wait until I got through Christmas

 

Has anyone heard anything about Jack’s Mannequin repressing People and Things? I have the other two albums, but I’m not ready to pay discogs prices for that one lmao. And with the first two being repressed, it seems weird to not do that one

 

No true word but I’m expecting that it will happen. The other two were both repressed on the ten year, so it would make sense to follow suit here

 

I have no idea how many records I have on pre-order - they just show up sometimes haha
