Cautiously optimistic. I can't believe it's been 9 years since their last album

Well finally! I listened to Rise and Fall in full the other day and I’m not sure I realized just how damn good it was. Hoping this one even comes closes to that. Cautiously optimistic.

    I'm not brave Prestigious

I’ll give this a shot when it drops. Haven’t been that into their new stuff for a while but still love their classic albums. Still kind of wondering what happened with all the Greg K. drama and what the cause of it was.

Seems like the new record is all done. Single is coming. They have hard dates, but can't say anything. Though Dexter said it's "soon" so let's wait and see.

It's so, so good. Right up there with Ixnay as my favorite.

i remember when Rise and Fall came out and buying the CD thinking I probably won’t even like this band anymore but I’ll give it a try for nostalgia and then playing the first track and just cranking the volume louder and louder

Definitely Ixnay as number 1. The guitar tones, and dark tone, it really was the twin to Green Day’s Insomniac. Both bands in my opinion followed up unbeatable classics with two albums that were different slightly but only by tone, and lyrically substance. More serious. The problem I have with the band is the are at best ok live. Where Green Day could hold their own live, see Jaded in Chicago, as a four piece Dexter is limited playing guitar, I’d say Greg Graffin is better and he never plays with Bad Religion but have seen him solo a few times, and Dexters vocals with age like Hetfield those high notes are tough to replicate on stage. Noodles is solid but not a wizard. Studio albums Smash, Ixnay, and Rise and Americana are classics for sure the rest is well... some gimmick songs that are made more for commercials.

Ixnay is the shit. I remember listening to that on my cassette player during my bus rides to and from school. That and gangstas paradise haha.

    Elementary school was wild.

All I Want still has a good case at being my favorite song by them

Smash and Ixnay are just about neck and neck at the top of my list. Probably tied.
