lololol I've only really left my house to go to work (which had furloughed me for a few months because of covid) and take my mom food shopping, glad to see she and her friends are all having a good time!

how the hell does Florida allow that many people in one place? It’s probably just as bad here in Texas but you won’t see businesses, especially bars packed like that here in my city.

Heya gyms, bars, restaurants (except for take out), pretty much everything except supermarkets, are closed here in Germany. It's insane that, despite the pandemic hitting the states the hardest, there are still open bars there rn.

 

Same in the UK. Blows my mind how little precautions people are taking and how little they care.

I wanna say America has a higher percentage of stupid people than any other nation, but I live in a country that voted for brexit and had the government actual go through with it. It's hard to beat that kind of stupidity.

 

Brother, there's a lot of things that are open here, it'd be easier to name the things not open over here.

A lot of them have no choice, they had no help. The only other choice was to lay off their entire staff and go out of business. If they were given proper funding and had their employees salaries covered like they do in other places, I’m sure some would still not give a shit but a lot of them would stay closed or just do takeaway.

My in-laws are in Iowa and they've basically removed all restrictions now. They've had most schools open the whole time (with no mask mandate), but now they are forcing 100% in person schools.

 

Everything bar essential services is closed here and we’re not allowed go further than a 5km radius when outside to try and curb the spread.

The govt here fucked up and opened everything before Christmas to try get favour from businesses and that made us go from like 300 cases a day to 8000 and doing the worst in Europe.
