They fixed your brain when you were young.

    That chorus slaps so hard.

My favorite on White is Wind In Our Sail but the whole album is great. Even Thank God For Girls despite some cheesy lyrics.

The "Does anybody love anybody as much as I love you, baby?" section is the highlight of the album, and it is the best overall song. I just like how weird Jacked Up is.

I'm just glad we can ALL agree that White Album is a top 3 Weezer album and Jacked Up is indeed, fantasticly absurdly great.

White is a perfect distillation of everything I love about Weezer, every track feels essential to the whole yet stands out from each other.

Where do we think this album is gonna chart? With all the hype and positive reviews it's received, I would love to see Weezer back in the top 10 (I'm not counting Teal...).

According to hits daily double it’s not debuting in the top20

yeah it’s basically the opposite of a chart success album

i do think van weezer will chart quite highly tbh

van weezer certainly has a chance, I think a lot of it hinges on if they can get a hit single out of it or not

    Things have changed.

"End of the Game" and "Hero" both got significant airplay. That was last year, though.

yeah that's my point i guess, those were too long ago now so we need to get a new hit single ahead of release for the album to soar

Honestly fully expected this to chart pretty high, but I didn't realize PD and Black did so poorly (for their standards - only two releases outside of the top 7 since Pinkerton) finishing at 23 and 19 respectively. Considering this seems to be very well received, and not much else was released last week, I figured this would chart decently high.

    Guess I was wrong.

Sometimes we forget in our chorus.fm bubble that we are nowhere near reflective of general population. I can guarantee you that at least 90% of people I know who consider themselves Weezer fans don't even know a new album came out

Damn, I was hoping with all the vinyl variants selling out in a day and the single performing well that this would've done better than Black.

Oh well, still an amazing album.

Vinyl has nothing on streaming which is usually like 5% of most rock acts totals lol.

Doesn't matter Weezer can do whatever they want for as long as they want to!
