I listened to it for the first time last night and am unsure of what to say about it so far, other than I really wanna keep listening to it. lol

 

Also I just wanna take this moment to say I hate outdoorsy things. People think I'm shallow for it but whatevs. I don't want to go hunting or camping or fishing or hiking and I get judged hard for it out here but I just didn't grow up doing it and I have no desire to. My coworkers wanna do a camping retreat and I'm like uhhhhh I'll leave you a cardboard cutout of me but that's not happening.

 

The lyrics add so much heft to the record, some pretty great themes of identity, sexuality and love lost.

The outdoors completely and utterly can bite it. I have some "redneck" family, and as such was dragged on hunting/camping trips as a kid, extremely disliked every aspect of it.

Fishing especially is bad, though I could see that being passable with beers and friends. But still, I can do that anywhere.

I love me some fassbender, but I have many, many concerns for this movie.

 

I like hiking for a brief period of time and then it's like I'm hot I'm thirsty I need to pee from drinking all that water because I was thirsty

I did enjoy the trips from YMCA to a skating rink and bowling alley that we did weekly during the summer. That was fun.

I was the wannabe badass 8 year old trying to bowl without bumpers.

I think the thing that really bugs me is all the radio ads or tv ads like condemning for people for wanting to be inside rather than go outdoors.

 

There certainly isn't netflix and video games outdoors. They the ones missing out tbh

If the weather is nice i like camping. Still spend a lot of time inside but I need to escape sometimes

 

I got dragged camping for a bachelorette party a few years ago and I hated it. I hate the dark and I hate sleeping in tents. Like why would I want to sleep in a tent when I can sleep in a bed? And not get bitten by bugs in the process?? Then the next bachelorette party I went to we had to go hiking uggggh

 

insects are terrible

 

If these are the norm for bachelorette parties, at least I know I'm not missing out on anything special. heh.

 

Spiders are okay, they take care of the pesky flying critters.
